Katlegong Group currently comprises of two divisions with each providing specific projects and services:

1. KOPANO:

This division bestows on us the opportunity to actualize and share an ambient atmosphere with up to 250 guests for unique expression while collaborating with geographics where we can co-exist in and as nature. Kopano means‘Unity’ or ‘Meeting’ in Sepedi, which speaks to how beautifully we and things can come together.

# Melodi Gardens

Melodi Gardens is a Winter social experience where we courageously get cozy with some warmers along with nurturing sounds, ingestibles, and fellowship. The event thrives in the mellowing afternoon and deeper evening time, so this one is only for the legal folks. It is a homage to instrumentalists and vocalists who share with us the process of music coming to life. Melodi Gardens also invites entities that would like the community to try out food they’ve prepared. Just a dear old-fashioned chill spot.

# Vhuyani

Vhuyani (formally Slow Sunday) – which means ‘Return’ in Tshivenda – is a picnic-style gathering that wishes to prompt feelings of familiarity and reconnection. This event is suitable for both adults and minors (unless officially advertised otherwise) and takes place between the remaining morning and introductory evening. We explore hospitality in its simplicity and certain aspects of The Arts. At Vhuyani, an intention is for guests to leave feeling rested within innately shared energy and grounded enough to move forward in fullness.



2. LEFA:

Lefa - meaning ‘Legacy’ or ‘Inheritance’ in Sepedi- echoes the combination of past, present, and future. With how everything affects everything, the question becomes: How can we revisit to learn how to better move forward? It is a division that gathers and shares any insight on functional social support within experiential integration across generations.

PHODIŠO PROJECT:


We’ve been on-the-go since before we were even born! Along with one having to navigate through vast life experiences, it can be difficult to even notice the need to slow down and debrief. This initiative encourages us to co-create healthier and safer ways to express and feel better about existing.
Through#PhodišoProject, we aim to affirm the mutual feelings of being heard and seen. We are “together through expression”.

CAREER CONNECT:


It is often through humanizing and making time to gain context of a situation where we can bridge the gap to collective harmony. We consider the influences of biopsychosocial factors on one’s wellbeing and their bespoke career path. This is an initiative that explores the benefits of inner work and connecting of dots as clarifying steps towards healthier esteem and overall fulfilment. #CareerConnect also encourages self-sufficiency, lifelong learning, and sustainable success.
